Welcome to the Whirlpool’s Crowdfunding page in support of Fondazione Renato Piatti!
Fondazione Renato Piatti is a non-profit organization specialized in the creation and implementation of projects and services for kids and people with intellectual and relational disorders.
As part of its House and Home Strategy, Whirlpool is committed to developing resilient, vibrant neighborhoods through education and community development in the places where we do business.
Thanks to your participation to the Milan Relay Marathon, and in collaboration with Fondazione Piatti, we will support the Autism Center in Milan, a therapy center which welcomes children (aged 2-14), diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
In particular, we will double the available spaces in the center creating 18 rooms with an autism-friendly environment that will make it possible for additional 100 kids to be welcome at their premises.
Here’s where you jump in!
Improve your well-being and become a champion of solidarity now. Register with your team to participate in the Milan Relay Marathon HERE
If you are not comfortable with running and still would like to contribute, you can make a voluntary donation directly to Fondazione Piatti. This will help us reach the goal of 10K EUR to create the new spaces for kids!
House + Home: Whirlpool’s Approach to CSR
In Whirlpool Corporation, investing in the communities where we operate has been at the foundation of our approach to social responsibility for over 111 years.
House + Home is underpinned by the company’s commitment to improving life at home. The strategy seeks to contribute towards safe, affordable and nurturing places to live, where families can make healthy choices and build a better future, while supporting thriving and sustainable communities through a number of educational and community development programmes.
Our House initiatives focus on ensuring everyone can have a place to live that is comfortable and nurturing. A place where families can make healthy choices in their efforts to build their best life. Our employees volunteer to build houses and improve housing adequacy
Our Home initiatives focus on developing resilient, vibrant neighborhoods through education and community development in the places where we do business. Most of our operations are located in small towns, and we believe it is our responsibility to support these communities. Together, with local businesses, government and nonprofits we help to improve the quality of life for all residents in our neighborhoods.
